AI Agents
Think of AI Agents as your specialized virtual assistants. Each agent is an AI trained to perform specific tasks, like analyzing documents, generating reports, creating creative content, or managing your interactions with customers. You can create an agent with a simple prompt so that it systematically executes any task.
AI Models
An AI model is a type of system designed to create new content — text, images, videos, audio, and more — based on parameters that were provided to it during its training. Examples of models are: ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude Sonnet, etc. Unlike traditional AI models, which only recognize patterns or classify information, generative models are able to produce something new and original, simulating human creativity.
Agent Studio
Agent Studio is your agent creation environment in Tess AI. This is the area of the platform where you can build, customize, and manage your own AI Agents. In Agent Studio, you build the prompts, define the models, the privacy level, the knowledge base, and the tools your agents will use.
Tools
Tools are resources you can add to your AI Agents or directly to Tess's Chat to further improve performance. They allow agents to perform specific actions, like searching for information on the internet and on social media, creating images and documents, analyzing data in spreadsheets, and much more.
Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base is the information repository that you provide to your AI Agents or add directly in the chat to improve their training and make them more accurate. You can upload documents, spreadsheets, images, add site URLs and other materials so your agents or your conversations can learn about a specific topic. A well-structured knowledge base maximizes the accuracy and assertiveness of the answers.
Memory Collections
Memories allow AI Agents to learn from past interactions. They work as a record of relevant and reusable snippets from past conversations, which can be saved and organized into collections, making sure the AI remembers the context and your preferences over time. This feature makes future interactions more personalized and efficient. You can decide at any time which memories will be active or inactive for each conversation.
Prompt
The Prompt is the instruction you give to an AI Agent or to the model used directly in the Chat. It’s how you “ask” or “request” that it performs a task. The clarity and quality of your prompt are key to getting the best results. A good prompt is specific, contextualized, and clear about the expected outcome.
Temperature
“Temperature” is a setting that lets you adjust the level of creativity or predictability in your AI Agent’s responses. Think of it as a volume control for the model’s “imagination,” which can, for example, reduce the risk of hallucinations and make the AI’s behavior more compatible with the work being done.
Lower temperatures (Systematic, Objective): Lead to more direct, focused, and consistent answers. It’s ideal for tasks that require precision and objectivity, like data extraction, document summarization, or answers based strictly on a Knowledge Base.
Higher temperatures (Creative, Imaginative): Encourage the Agent to generate more creative, diverse, and even unexpected responses. Use this setting for activities like brainstorming ideas, creating artistic content, or generating different versions of a text.
Max Mode
Max Mode is a setting that activates the largest context windows available for the models, which results in slower performance and higher costs.
Normally, Tess uses a 32k token context window (~24,000 words). Max Mode lets you turn on the largest context windows available for all supported models. This is especially useful for long conversations and for models that support extended context, like 200k tokens in Claude models or 1M tokens for GPT and Gemini models.
Credit Wallet (AI Wallet)
Your Credit Wallet is the control center of your usage in Tess AI. Each plan has an amount of credits that are deposited into your AI Wallet for you to use however you want within the platform.
Every action performed on the platform uses credits, and the amount of credits can vary depending on the complexity of the task and the AI model used. More advanced models and features like Max Mode, for example, use more credits.
You can check your balance and usage history at any time directly on the platform, ensuring full transparency and control over your spending. Managing the AI Wallet is the user’s responsibility.
Team Dashboard
The Team Board is your shared workspace for collaborating with other users in Tess AI. This section was designed to offer a centralized and unified view of all the Agents that were created by your team members and configured with "Workspace" visibility.
Monetization
One of Tess AI’s big features is our marketplace, which lets users monetize their Agents in different ways.
Users can become real agent creators and generate revenue from their work in the following ways:
getting paid for each agent run
selling their agents directly
creating a recurring subscription to give other users access to their own workspace (so they can use all available agents)
To do this, just create an agent and turn on one of the monetization features.
Marketplace
Tess AI's Marketplace is the largest collaborative AI space on the planet, where users can discover, buy, and sell AI Agents through the monetization features mentioned above.
The Marketplace works like a big showcase of ready-made solutions for all kinds of challenges and industries, creating a win-win for users: on one side, creators can leverage their skills and make money; on the other side, new users have the chance to find useful agents for their work and start using them right away, increasing the value captured on the platform.
