What is Manage Files
Manage Files is a tool that allows the AI to:
read and generate documents
apply requested changes
save a new version of the file, preserving formatting and layout as much as possible
It works similarly to Deep Analysis in “run mode”: you ask in natural language and the AI executes the task (usually via structured processing of the document), delivering the edited file at the end.
Use it whenever you want Tess to “do it in the file”, and not just “tell you how to do it”.
Practical examples by file type

Manage Files
Goal: modify or generate a file.
Result: a new file for download.
Deep Analysis
Goal: accurately analyze/calculate/understand data (mainly spreadsheets/CSVs).
Result: an analysis in text, tables, and/or charts (not necessarily a final edited file, but it can also generate a new file).
How to use it (step by step)
In the chat, click the Tools button (icon next to the message box)
Select “Manage Files”
Attach the file you want to edit
Give the instruction in a clear and direct way
Wait for processing and download the new version of the file
Manage Files is a productivity multiplier and gives you the file ready to go, drastically cutting down manual tasks. Instead of getting just recommendations, you get the final result already edited and ready to use.
