- What plans are available at Tess AI? Tess AI offers different plans to match the needs of all kinds of users. The current plans are annual: Beginner Plan, Individual Plan, and Business Plan.
Each plan gives you a different amount of annual credits and access to specific features. The more advanced plans usually have more credits and extra features, like agent creation and more advanced automations.
As something in common, all plans have unlimited Chats for over 15 different AI models, and unlimited image generation using the Flux Schnell model and Tess AI V4.
What's the difference between the Beginner, Individual, and Business plans?
The Beginner plan is perfect for beginners, offering 18,000 credits per year
The Individual plan includes everything in Beginner, plus 36,000 yearly credits and the ability to create custom AI agents
Business, made for teams and companies, offers 60,000 yearly credits, Team Workspace, AI Automation, and Tess API access, on top of everything in the previous plans. Every plan comes with access to our AI University.
- Can I change my plan in the middle of the billing cycle? Yes, you can switch your plan whenever you want. If you upgrade, you’ll move to the new plan right away. If you downgrade, you’ll switch at the end of your current plan.

Plans are yearly and can be paid by credit card in up to 12 installments, interest-free. They are:
Beginner
R$ 49/month: for a total of 18,000 credits per year. You'll get access to unlimited chats and image generation depending on the models, over 10,000 models made by our AI community, and so much more!
Individual
R$ 99/month: 36,000 credits per year. Besides everything from the previous plan, you can also create your own custom AI agents.
Business
R$ 149 per user/month: 60,000 credits per year. Includes all features from previous plans, plus a Workspace for your team, adding new users, AI Automation, and Tess API.
All plans include the AI University, a gamified training in Tess AI so you really get to master Generative AI.
With prepaid plans, you buy credits to use on the platform with a single payment, no recurring charges.
- How does Tess AI's credit system work? Tess AI uses a credit system to track platform usage. Each plan comes with a specific amount of annual credits. Credit consumption is calculated using OpenAI tokenization to make measurement more accurate.
As a similarity, all plans have unlimited Chats for 15 different AI models, as well as unlimited image generation using the Google Imagen 3 model
- Can I buy extra credits? Yes, you can get extra credits separately if you need more than your plan gives you. You’ll be able to purchase them in the plans section, under the "prepaid" tab.
- Do unused credits roll over to the next year? Unused credits don’t roll over to the following year. Every billing cycle starts with the amount of credits for your current plan. If your plan is annual, you get them all at once for the whole year.
- Is there any extra charge for things like audio transcription or image processing? There’s no extra charge for any runs on the platform. Usage goes through your credits, and each run uses a different amount, which you can see right on the platform.
- How can I check how many credits I have left? You can check your current credits balance on the sidebar of your Tess AI account or in the plan management section.
- How can I get free credits? Tess gives you a chance to earn 1,000 free credits by completing a survey and rating the platform on G2. Plus, there are other actions through the rewards program.
- What payment methods are accepted? Tess AI accepts credit card payments and PIX (for Brazil).
- Can I change my payment method? No, since it's an annual cycle, your purchase is one-time only and it goes straight to your card limit. It's only possible, before renewal, to choose not to renew and then make a new purchase.
- Is there a refund policy? Yes, Tess AI offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. To be eligible, you need to request your refund within this period by following this link here
- What happens if my payment fails? If there are issues with your payment, the system will try about 8 times over a few days. At the end of these attempts, if there's still an error, your plan will be automatically canceled.
- How does the invoice issuing work? You'll get your payment invoice every month by email.

- Are plans renewed automatically? Yes, plans renew automatically. When you confirm your purchase, you authorize future renewals. However, you can cancel the renewal anytime with no extra fees—it will schedule the cancellation for the end of the current cycle.
- Can I cancel my plan and get a refund anytime?
You have a 7-day period after purchase to request a full, hassle-free refund.
After this period, the full cost of your chosen plan remains due, no matter if you use the service or not. Remember, our plans are a one-time investment, not monthly subscriptions!
If I choose to pay in installments, does the total plan price change?
No. The total plan price stays the same, whether you pay all at once or in 12 interest-free installments. The installment option just makes it easier to pay for the one-time investment.

- Is there a user limit per plan? The number of allowed users depends on the plan. The Beginner and Individual plans allow only one user, while the Business plan gives you more flexibility on that. Adding new users leads to extra charges or not (in case they're Lite Users).
- Are credits shared between team members? Yep, on plans that let multiple users join, credits are shared between all team members.
- Is tech support available for all plans? All plans get support on the platform, straight through the platform's chat. But if you want more personalized help and closer follow-up, those are only included in the top plans.

- What's the difference in credit usage when adding a knowledge base?
When you add a knowledge base, there's a small processing cost that will use your credits just once, which is exactly to access your uploaded base.
And usually it's very little, don't worry. With no extra base and unlimited model, you don't use any of your credits!
